 Dopo lo show al Groundwork del 2001 e le due serate al Bridge Benefit chi si sarebbe aspettato un' apparizione segreta del leader dei Pearl Jam per altro ad uno show, anch' esso segreto, dei R.E.M. ? Cosi' è stato. Durante lo show a sorpresa della band di Athens, Ed Vedder sali' sul palco per duettare con l' amico Michael Stipe a metà show, prima per interpretare la sua Long Road, poi alla fine del concerto per esibirsi su It' s The End Of The World.../ People Have The Power (quest' ultima di Patti Smith) e sulla song presa in considerazione questo mese: Begin The Begin, una delle piu' belle canzoni dei R.E.M. tratta da Lifes Rich Pageant , capolavoro dell' 86. Emozioni a non finire...un cerchio perfetto (perfect circle) si creo' quella sera...per rimanere in tema.
