On March 12, 2007, R.E.M. will be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame by Eddie Vedder.

To celebrate this special event, Pearl Jam OnLine.it presents this awesome duet between Vedder and the lead singer of R.E.M., Michael Stipe. The song is 'Long road' and it was recorded during a 'secret' R.E.M. show at the Crocodile Cafe in Seattle (October 23, 2001).

For Vedder, this will be the third induction speech, after those for Neil Young [1995] and The Ramones [2002], whose transcripts are available in interviews (italian only).
