Some previews about Flag Day soundtrack: Eddie Vedder’s duet with her daughter and a cover of a legendary song by R.E.M.
Flag Day, the new film by Sean Penn, was premiering at Cannes Film Festival on 10th July. The film features some unreleased songs by Eddie Vedder including There’s a Girl, written and recorded with his daughter Olivia, and a cover of Drive, the masterpiece by R.E.M., opening track of Automatic For The People, one of best record of the band.
In Flag Day soundtrack there are also unreleased songs by Cat Power (Dream) and Glen Hansard who sings As You Did Before and My Father’s Daughter (performed by Olivia Vedder – a snippet is available in the video below).

Flag Day will be screened in U.S. from 20th August, 2021. Its own score should be released on the same day.
