Pearl Jam’s Jeff Ament was officially inducted into the Montana Music Hall of Fame on 31st of March.
“The one and only, Jeff Ament. A gifted songwriter, best known as the bassist of the rock band Pearl Jam, which he co-founded alongside Stone Gossard, Mike McCready, and Eddie Vedder. He has been a part of developing skate parts across MT and has continued to support and give to the preservation of the Arts in his home state, Montana. Yesterday, Ament also payed tribute to the late Ryuichi Sakamoto on his Instagram: “Rest easy Ryuichi Sakamoto who gave us so much great sound over the last 40+ years. Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence. Beauty. The Revenant. The great collabs with David Sylvian and Yellow Magic Orchestra. A true pioneer of sound”.
Born in Reggio Emilia in 1980. He created pearljamonline.it in 2001 and wrote the first edition of “Pearl Jam Evolution” in 2009 along with his wife Daria. Since 2022, he is behind 2 podcasts: “Pearl Jam dalla A alla Z” and “Fuori Orario Not Another Podcast”. He has collaborated with Barracuda Style, HvsR, Rolling Stone, Rockol and Il Fatto Quotidiano. He continues relentlessly to try to find “beautiful melodies that say terrible things”.
