Eddie Vedder has released a brand new solo-track, Long Way, from his forthcoming album Earthling.
For this record, Eddie Vedder worked with producer Andrew Watt in their first collaboration. The combination of Eddie Vedder’s vocals and Watt’s production come together to drive the emotional power behind the piece of work.
Long Way has been recorded this spring in Los Angeles with Andrew Watt on guitars and bass, Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) on drums, Josh Klinghoffer (Pluralone) on guitars, Benmont Tench (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers) on keyboards and Harper Vedder on background vocals. You can listen to Eddie Vedder’s new song Long Way on all digital platforms.
No release date has been announced yet for the album, which will come out on Vedder’s own Seattle Surf imprint through Republic. A limited-edition 7-inch vinyl which features Long Way & the soon-to-be released single The Haves, is available for pre-order in the pearljam.com’s shop.
