Listen to Zucchero’s cover of Pearl Jam’s Just Breathe

A rendition of one of Pearl Jam’s classics, Just Breathe, is featured on Zucchero‘s new cover album.

Discover II is the second chapter of Zucchero “Sugar” Fornaciari’s idea to make his own the songs he most loved in his life. One of the covers is Pearl Jam’s Just Breathe, originally included on their 2009 album Backspacer.

Just Breathe is one of the Pearl Jam songs that touches my heart,” said the well-known Italian bluesman.

Discover II also includes covers of artists such as Marvin Gaye, Bob Dylan, U2, Rod Stewart, Bleachers, The Killers, Adele and Paul Young. The deluxe edition of Discover II includes a second cover version of Just Breathe, recorded by Zucchero with actor and musician Russell Crowe.

Adelmo Fornaciari was born in Roncocesi (Reggio Emilia) on 25th September 1955.

Zucchero Fornaciari, pseudonym of Adelmo Fornaciari, is an Italian singer-songwriter and musician. He is credited as the “father of Italian blues” and over a career spanning more than forty years he has collaborated with artists such as Joe Cocker, The Blues Brothers, Ray Charles, Sting, Bono, Brian May, Eric Clapton, Tom Jones, Bryan Adams, Peter Gabriel, Mousse T., Sérgio Mendes, Sheryl Crow, Vanessa Carlton, Mark Knopfler, John Lee Hooker, Miles Davis, B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Iggy Pop and Alejandro Sanz.
