Painted Shield are back with a brand new song called Transector, and they’ve also announced their upcoming third studio album which will be out this summer.
Painted Shield will be released their new album, Painted Shield 3, produced by Josh Evans, on July 26 via Loosegroove Records. You can pre-order the album on vinyl at brooklynvegan.com.
Painted Shield are Stone Gossard, Mason Jennings, Brittany Davis, Jeff Fielder and Matt Chamberlain. The band will be headlining a Loosegroove Records Revue in Seattle on March 2 at the Paramount Theater.

Born in Reggio Emilia in 1980. He created pearljamonline.it in 2001 and wrote the first edition of “Pearl Jam Evolution” in 2009 along with his wife Daria. Since 2022, he is behind 2 podcasts: “Pearl Jam dalla A alla Z” and “Fuori Orario Not Another Podcast”. He has collaborated with Barracuda Style, HvsR, Rolling Stone, Rockol and Il Fatto Quotidiano. He continues relentlessly to try to find “beautiful melodies that say terrible things”.
