For the first time ever, Pearl Jam‘s 1992 MTV Unplugged performance will be available on CD and on streaming platforms on October 22nd.
The 2019 Record Store Day vinyl LP will also be available again.
Pre-order the CD and LP at pearljam.com.
The session was recorded in the days following the band’s first-ever European tour. The performance saw the band perform six cuts from their debut record, Ten.
“We literally got off the plane from Europe, spent all day in a cavernous sound studio in New York, and did the show that night,” explained bassist Jeff Ament. “It’s pretty powerful, and Ed’s singing great. Yet it’s kind of naive, which is awesome.”
The recording of the show was released on DVD as an attachment to the Ten Legacy Edition.
