Today Pearl Jam guitarist was interviewed during a livestream on Pearl Jam Radio, available on SiriusXM.
During the program, Stone Gossard streamed some of his favorite songs from Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Chris Cornell, Alain Johannes, Prince, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Mudhoney and Stooges and some tracks from young bands he loves very much (like the Alabama Shakes). Not only, Gossard selected some of his favorite Pearl Jam tracks – Pilate, Aya Davanita, The End and Immortality taken from the 2016 Boston concert -, two of his unreleased songs (The Farewellest and Hung By A Halo) and a track from his new side project (Painted Shield, with Mason Jennings and Matt Chamberlain).
During the episode, Stone recalled the late Shawn Smith and aired Pieces of Sky in My Head – an unreleased track by Brad from the new album the group was recording during the period of Smith’s death.
